Enjoy some refreshing outdoor activity with Forterra and the Green DesMoines Partnership as we work to restore a critical wetland area by planting native greenery and create a healthy environment for them to thrive.

Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided. Dress in weather-appropriate layers and wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty!

Where to Meet

We will be meeting by the picnic tables in the eastern clearing of the park.

Parking is available at Grace Lutheran church adjacent to the park on 24th Ave and Kent Des Moines Road.
