Activities

Celebrate Des Moines's forests and leave a legacy-plant a tree! Volunteer with your family and friends to kick off the planting season. All ages, identities, and experience levels welcome. Tools and gloves provided.

To reduce the spread of Covid-19, we will have the following precautions:

Required mask-wearing
Limiting event size to 50 participants
Pre-packaged food

What to Bring

Water bottle and rain gear. Please wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toed shoes. To prevent the spread of covid-19, masks will be required.If you have gardening gloves or hand tools that you like to use, feel free to bring them.
